"Follow Your Dream" Scholarships
Each year, through the Issaquah Women's Foundation, we award scholarships to deserving high school senior girls graduating from any of the Issaquah School District high schools.
This year's winners of the $1,000 Follow Your Dream Scholarships are Kelli Yakabu, who will be graduating from Issaquah High School; Alex Sanchez, who will be graduating from Skyline High School; and Valerie Unger, who will also be graduating from Issaquah High School. Congratulations! We wish you all the best as you "follow your dreams."

LifeWire "EVE" Scholarship Fund
Some half dozen years ago, the IWC, through the Issaquah Women's Foundation, established the "EVE" Scholarship Fund at LifeWire (formerly the Eastside Domestic Violence Program). Its purpose is to help women who are victims of domestic violence get back on their feet by either going back to school to complete a course of study for a degree or certification. The funds may be used only for tuition and/or books, and the receipients of the funds are determined solely by the LifeWire case workers. For more information on LifeWire and its work, go to http://www.lifewire.org/.
Issaquah Parks & Recreation Summer Camp Scholarships
Each summer the Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department makes available scholarship funds, ranging from 50% to 100% of the camp tuition, to children of families from very low to moderate income so these children can participate in the summer camp programs. The dollars that we contribute each year enable several children to attend summer camp who would otherwise not be able to. For more information on these scholarships, go to http://www.ciissaquah.wa.us/Page.asp?NavID=102.
